Deep Learning

A subset of machine learning that uses neural networks with many layers (hence 'deep') to learn complex patterns from large amounts of data.

Definition

Powers most modern AI breakthroughs including language models, image generators, and game-playing AI. Requires significant compute but achieves remarkable results.
