Variational Autoencoder. A generative model that learns to encode data into a structured latent space and decode it back. Unlike regular autoencoders, VAEs learn a probability distribution over the latent space, allowing smooth interpolation and generation of new samples. Used in image generation and drug discovery.
A neural network trained to compress input data into a smaller representation and then reconstruct it.
The compressed, internal representation space where a model encodes data.
AI systems that create new content — text, images, audio, video, or code — rather than just analyzing or classifying existing data.
A mathematical function applied to a neuron's output that introduces non-linearity into the network.
An optimization algorithm that combines the best parts of two other methods — AdaGrad and RMSProp.
Artificial General Intelligence.
